I seem to keep focusing on how time is flying but I just can't help it. Today my son turns 26. I feel like the days have slipped through my hands just like sand. I try to hold onto the moments as tight as I can but I have no control over them and I have come to realize that. I have not accepted it but I do know that it is not in my power to make the moments last longer. It is only in my ability to make the most of them and make them happen. Okay, so my son is now 26 and I have to say that he has made his moments count and has become a very upstanding young man. I don't think I know a person like him who makes good choices and lives a life full of good. He has done all and more of what I would have expected from a son so I am sooooooooo proud of who he is and am so blessed that he is mine :) Since today is his birthday, I want to share this with all of you and allow him to sit back and know how much he means to me :)
Here are some pictures of Michael through the years. They all make me smile when I remember the moments. What a wonderful son!!!!! I love you Michael :))))) and of course, Happy 26th Birthday :)
Here is Michael when he was only 4 months old :) Look at those arm rolls and the beautiful blue eyes :)
Easter of 1985............look how handsome :))))))))
Michael's 3rd Birthday with his Mickey Mouse cake :) This was the year where he was blowing out his candles and the tip of his hair got burnt while he was doing that (yikes).
I think Michael was 7 here and we were at the beach boardwalk :) We have always loved going to the beach for our vacations :)
This is one of my favorite pictures of me and Michael :)
And this is another favorite of mine :) Emily adores her brother and he is so good to her :) He teaches her so many things and she just loves being with him and playing games. He's an awesome brother :)
And here he is today :) We took this picture this past weekend for his Visa that he is going to need for his trip to Brazil. That is another thing about Michael....he is very adventurous and loves to travel the world.
